Real Thala of my life

Hi Thala. Thought of writing about you on your birthday as your birthday gift. I opened my lap and I am sitting thinking for one long hour. It's because many things are popping out and I don't know what all to write. So, I have decided to write whatever which comes to mind then and there. Please don't mind if there is any non linearity here.


I can't start this without saying about our first meeting. It was in Bhumi office basement. You were Liaison coordinator and I am your assistant cum HSV coordinator for Nakshatra'14 culturals. I could still remember who all were there. Other than us Uma, Pooja and an intern. We were there for like 2 hours talking on how to go with Liaison work and just after that meet I knew I met one of the best friend (moreover a personality I would say) in my life. You don't need to hangout long to understand that. For every friendship to get sealed, there is always that one second which tells you that he/she will be your best friend in your life forever. And luckily that one second occurred to me on that first day.


To be frank, you never taught me anything like a teacher (except that one talk we had about Love. Let me come back to that later :D). It's just that chatting with you itself taught me a lot of things. You saw the world in a different way. When we were busy following our daily shitty routine you followed what you loved. And the best part is you are still following it even though you had many obstacles.


And I always admire your positive energy. Whatever the situation is, you never go down in both voice and energy. You were always full of energy and you transferred it to people around you. And I feel great to be one among them.


And here comes the Love :P. Love in the sense not just the Love with the opposite gender but also Love in whatever you do. Your Love for many things always inspired me. Your Love for work you do. Your Love for Photography. Your Love for Cinemas. Your Love for Music. Your Love for A R Rahman. Your Love for people. Everything inspired me. Mostly the photography part. My interest for taking photos has a huge impact from you.


And that one chat about Love we had during Science outing was one of the best boy to boy talks I ever had. Till then I have been thinking that Love is just a feel which makes me happy. But after that talk, I understood that real Love should sustain forever throughout the life and it should be practical. I know this concept had been already said in many Cinemas. But, no one or no Cinema told me like you did.


And your respect for friends. You were there for all of your friends whenever they need you. You never missed a person's birthday. You always took the responsibility of making a personalized gift for them.


Thanks for the Cinemas and Music you suggested to me. Thanks for all those appreciation you gave me. Thanks for the inspiration and confidence you instilled in me. And Thanks for the Love you shared with me.


You are a real Thala :)
